Xperia z1 is stuck on safe mode please help, I have done over 10 normal restarts and still stuck

actually i dont know. but all what i ask them to do was (fix the volume down &  safe mode)

It is best that they repair your phone.

take the back off and press the yellow button

Me too and its stuck for two days now snd I did the whole press the power off button and the volume up key and it won't t work

Same problem here.. First the volume down button won't work then it went to safe mode.. I dont know what to do.

Tried everything and my done is still on safe mode the last week, is there a different way of.fixing??

I had the same problem... Did it happen after you use the phone inside water?

Because I had that problem and then I waited a bit a used an hair dryer (without being hot) for a couple of minutes and it started working, I might be some moisture trapped within the button...

The solution for me was to take the phone out of flight mode before restarting with <Volume UP + Power>.

Othervise it just restarted into safe mode again.

Guys the volume down button is not working because of the software it's not a hardware problem and after few days the rest of the buttons won't work also

I now have the same problem. Followed all these instructions, but to no avail.

Worse still, the camera just loads for now reason (and nobody touches the button on the side), I load google maps and the volume just decides to reduce to mute and the power button to lock the screen does not want to work at times.

I am getting really annoyed with this phone (despite being a fervent advocate among my friends and family just months ago).
