Xperia Z one way speach

Hello,

Since several weeks I'm having issues when being called or calling someone.

After several seconds in the call or sometimes from the beginning, I have one way speach.

My contact can hear me, but I can't hear the other person.

When I turn on the handsfree mode or use the delivered headphones, there is no issue.

My Xperia Z is running 4.2.2 Build 10.3.1.A.2.67.

Thanks for any tips or tricks that might help.

Kind regards,

Suggest that you download Xperia Diagnostics from Google Play. In this application you can test the ear speaker. Does it work here?

Same problem.

I've tested the phone with the service code : *#*#7378423#*#*

Everything works.

But the phone speaker is disabled as phoning.

Hard reset do nothing better.

flash rom with sony update service do the trick. Slightly_smiling_Face

I downloaded the xperia diagnostics tool, and it helped me allot.

The tool played music through the earphone, but I couldn't hear it.

When I started putting preasure around the earphone, the sound cam through, sometimes crackling and depending where I putt preasure the sound was good.

So I think it is clear this is a hardware fault.

I will have to send it in then.

Thanks for the help.

I have this on every other incoming call have to hang up then second call always works.

Thats not the strange part though... This is the second one I have with exactly the same problem

handset number 3 is being delivered tomorrow.  My service provider has tried everything twice to resolve

but to no avail.  (Sim works perfectly in other handsets.)

P.S If you want a headache sign an EE contract thats Orange and T-Mobile pretending to be one company btw
