Can't receive text messages

Hi, hoping someone can help me.

Have been noticing that some of my text messages haven't been coming through over the past couple of weeks. However, it has gotten really bad this week and have only been able to receive messages from two people.

I have read some of the posts and tried a number of things suggested to address the issue.

I have;

- replaced my sim card with a new one

- completed a software repair using the PC companion

- deleted all of my text messages/conversations out of my inbox

- backed up and reset my phone (including the factory data setting reset) and reinstalled everything

- completed the latest updates.

I'm really at a loss as to what else i can do. Help please.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Sounds like you tried almost everything there is.

What I suggest is that if your phone isn't locked to your network operator, check if you can test using another operators SIM card.

If SMS still won't come through I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. Contact your local support team for more information about repair.

Hi Johan,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Unfortunately I did think that this may be the next option to try. I will take the phone to my provider and arrange the examination and repair.
