my Xperia Z1 has not screenshot option

When I pushed the power button there is no screenshot option. And the other choice is not utilize (power button + volume down). I don't know why? Is that a fault of Sony fabric (produce)?

Try again, Power Button + Vol Down at the same time. If it doesn't works then try to reset your phone. If still it doesn't works then move to nearest SONY SERVICE CENTRE and get your device checked.

If the volume down button works as it should when lowering the volume, I'm sure it should work to use it for taking a screenshot. 

Press and hold both on/off and volume down (-) key at the same time for about 2 seconds and the phone will take a screenshot of the present screen. Try a couple of times to get the right timing when you press and hold the two buttons.

I tried a hundred times and it is not running. Also two options not running in my Z1. Where is the Son. Service. When I downloaded some apps for screenshot also they don't have run

I think i understand mert.  Basically he is looking for a simple single button screen capture like it is on custom roms.

Simple answer mert that doesnt exist currently on the z1 firmware/softtware.

You will most likely need to root and use a custom rom to do that. 

If you normally want to take screen shots on any android phone it is power + volume down as stated by those posting before me. Check it out and see if it works first.

You need to press both buttons at the same time!!

You can make use of the small app designed for the purpose too. If you tap the bottom right button on the main screen > press the upwards pointing arrow button > Active Clip.

I am also facing the same problem. Power key and volume down key doesnt work for taking screenshot. I even downloaded an app "Screenshot Ultimate" for this purpoes. Even it couldnt take the screnshot. When I tried to go through settings>capture methods>detect. It gave the following message "No available screenshot method has been found.

Dont know what to do now.

Though the mini app works, but its a long process. I want my power+volume down key to work in the same way it works on every other phone.

Hi, Guys i tried it & it did not work and found the resolution that u need to press & hold it to make it work. so press & hold the power button  & the  down volume key to make it work....
