Z1 Unable to fast forward/rewind music

I wondered if anyone could help me with this. Within the Sony Walkman app the function 'Press and hold' to fast forward or rewind doesnt work. When you use this feature on my phone it just skips tracks on release of the button regardless of the length of time the button is held down. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me? Cant find any similar issues searching round the web. Thanks in advance

Are you in the overview screen where you just have a small song bar at the bottom of the screen and the screen is showing your other albums, if yes, than you can't fast forward or rewind. Press on the track that your are listening to, to reach the screen that is showing the cover art of the song and some sort of bigger track controls. On this screen you should be able to fast forward and rewind the song.

hi - you got it, just me being a bit stupid. That said its not exactly obvious to do that. If the controls are on offer then I think you should be able to use them as designed. Thanks for your help pal!!!!

glad to help. I share your opinion. The same controls should behave the same way on each screen. Maybe Sony will be improve this in the future.
