[Z1 Compact] Voice communication lost or not established

Hello,

I just got my Xperia Z1 compact lime and experienced 3 times a weird behavior.

While I am talking, the comm is suddenly lost (i.e.. I can't hear my interlocutor and he can't hear me) although the phone screen does display anything special and the duration counter still increments.

Details:

- I am using Z1 "as is" : without any cover, no helmet or BT or hand free kit or loud speaker

- I can hang up and redial. Once it has failed again after a few minutes

- My SIM comes from my previous phone, so should work (same mobile operator)

I think that once, I dialed to someone and could not establish the voice comm at all. Had to redial 3 times.

Anybody with same observations ? Any clue ?

Look for slow talk and microphone noise suppression in call settings.

Could you pls clarify why these 2 settings would have an influence on my issue ? They don't related at first sight, but who knows...

Actually I had the microphone background noise reduction ON and the slow talk OFF. I will try.

The microphone noise suppression is supposed to help you in noisy environments,where it could kind of filter the noise.

I think it's a "User Error"...

THis phone being more sophisticated than my previous one, I did not notice at first that one could alternate between the regular LP, the hand free LP and the BT earset DURING a same communication. So I was not listening at the right "pipe" !  😉
