Silent mode on 5.1.1

How do I enable silent mode on 5.1.1 it's not an option on the pull down notification. Or using the volume keys like 5.0.2.
Any ideas?

My friend,you need to wait until more of us get 5.1.1 on our devices. Not sure,doesn't power button long press bring it up?

Holding the power button only gives power and screen shot functionality. The only way to activate it seems to be going in the settings.

Or by reducing the volume to 0. But neither seem a step forward.

OK I think I got it. Tap the volume key. Now tap the bell on the volume slider. Thanks Alexdon that video helped a lot

@mr_xzibit I remember that on 5.0.2 the same tap on bell icon was available.

It is, but on 5.0.2, since Google in all it wisdom disabled traditional silent mode, all it does is go to vibrate and back to sound again.

On 5.1.1 it should be sound>vibrate>silent.... at least that's on AOSP.
