Gmail inbox

Hello Sony.

I would imagine this is not your problem but jusrt incase I'm asking..

I have been trying to find a way to make the Gmail inbox simple..

I am not interested for the inbox to have oeimarym social or promotions departments..

I would like just one simple inbox..

How can this be done?

I think you need to remove these from gmail using a web browser, the option isn't on the app.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

As said above, this can be change when using a web browser. Go to www.gmail.com > press the '+' sign next to the category tabs > untick the categories you don't whish to have enabled and save. Then open the Gmail app and update the inbox in your phone.
