Hi, I updated to Kitkat and decided to repair the phone with PC Companion after discovering a few bugs. However, the repair came to a stop saying an error occured and now I can't seem to boot the phone. I will only get past the Sony splash screen then a message appears on the screen saying "The software update failed. Make sure that your phone is connected to the computer and try again" which only remains displayed for about 15 seconds before the phone shuts down. How can I repair this when the phone won't boot properly? I've followed all of the recomendations like over 50% battery, original charging cable etc. yet still this happens. I need to recover my bricked phone urgently. Desperately awaiting response.
