failure to download apps via play store

Hello my name is themba from Zambia, I just got my first Sony which is an Xperia Z. Am not really familiar with Sony as I have been using BlackBerry. I have been unable to download apps from the play store. It keeps giving me this error: Error retrieving information from server RPC: S-7 : SEC -0 I don't know what to do please help

>if you have to download apps, you need have internet on phone (i guess you have it)

>are you using internet on phone or using Wifi

>if you have internet on phone but it is not connecting to play store, then try to access any websites using your phone and see whether you are able to connect to internet, if you are able to access different websites from phone then try to restart you phone and see

Thank you for the comment Manipur but I have tried that any nothing, am using both wireless and mobile internet. I am able to connect to other websites still unable to use play store

Try this

>setting -> apps -> all -> google play -> clear data and clear cache, restart phone and try to connect to the play store,(remember, doing clear data you will be losing sign up to play store later you have to again login to it)  if it is not working
 then do this

>settings -> apps -> all-> google play -> uninstall updates if it present and i guess this will help
