I too have troubles with Ford Sync and bluetooth connection to the phone (XA). This is the only phone that has issues with my car as all previous phones had no issues at all. And the battery drains really fast while bluetooth is on.....and I mean really fast. I had earlier bluetooth issues with the call volume when connected through Sync which are only resolved by manually turning the car volume right up when an incoming call comes in...what a pain...especially when I forget to turn it down again.
I am currently looking for another phone...even though the XA is supposed to be updated to Nougat (only current x series not updated yet....probably to try and get us to purchase the XA1...not a snowball's chance).....it is just not worth it with the abyssmal battery, unremoveable bloatware that takes valuable system memory, combined with the bluetooth issues and the extremely poor treatment i got form the sony store when trying to purchase a fast charger..... for me enough is enough.
