Wireless on VAIO Xl 201

I wonder if there is anyone out there who can help me with what may be a very simple problem: I can't get the wireless antenna to attach to the back of my VAIO. I used to live in a house with a wired network, so didn't need to use this, but now I live in a house where I will have to use wireless - it's very frustrating that the wireless adaptor simply does not want to screw into the back of the VAIO. Any ideas from fellow VAIO owners?

I am not familiar with your model but I have in the back of my mind that someone reported that the connection is a reverse thread (anti-clockwise). I may be completely off track here, but it is worth a try....

I think you are right Rich - I recall someone said it is a left-hand thread.

Yep, you beat me to it, defo a anti-clockwise tighten on that connection. Who designed that!?!

While i'm here, who designed the front phono connections which aren't connected to anything! 😉
