vaio vgn-z11 locks with office 2007 after XP downgrade

I had to downgrade my newly bought Viao VGN-Z11XN/B from Windows vista to windows XP SP3 due to unsupported of my applications in vista .
Now my Viao keeps locking during Windows office 2007 ( Word, excel) most of the time and none of keys work . I had to turn off my machine with forced power off button and on in order to continue .

Any help ?

Hi turhany and welcome to Club Vaio.

I was aware of some problems with Outlook 2007 locking up with XP - something to do with having the PDFMaker add-in installed.

Norton scanning has also been an issue.

What are you doing when it happens? Any error messages? Anything recorded in the Applications Event Viewer?

Is this the Sony 60day trial version or a full version?
