Is it possible to downgrade CR42S from Vista to XP?

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a freind a CR42S but it only comes with Vista.

I have been on to the support site and there are no drivers (that I can see) listed for XP.

Is this laptop same or similar spec to another and might it be possible to get the drivers from that model?

Any other help appreciated.

Well, with over 340 reads of this post and no replies, I can only assume that there are no drivers for this model for XP!

Sony - do you read these forums?

I will wait another day or so then go for a DELL who DO provide drivers. It really does seem that Sony don't care about their customers requirements as I see loads of postings for people that wish to use XP rather than Vista. Come on Sony wake up and respond to your customers needs, or loose them!
