connecting ps3 to vaio but how

hello friends,
is it possible to use my vaio fw21z's screen as playstation screen? i did some research so i have learnt this, i can not use hdmi cause of it s hdmi out. but there is s400 and expresscard/34 . if i buy capture card something which you recommend me then i could be able to do that?

Hi emreburkays and welcome to Club Vaio.

The simple answer is no, you cannot stream live analogue video to your Vaio. However, I'm sure a workaround is possible.

If you intend to use this for playing games - then forget it. Vista will not allow you to play any analogue input in full screen and with any capture card there would be a delay caused by the latency in the system that would make gameplay impossible.

For movies, you can buy any video capture card, but I cannot think of any software that will allow you to stream video to a full screen - you may find some with Google.

Unfortunately the sad truth is thet your FW-Series is not designed to act as a display for external video.
