AV Mode InstantOn not working for FW21L
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a VAIO notebook (FW21L) and joined the ranks of the VAIO club. This is my first foray into this forum and would like to clarify something which has been bugging me since my purchase. I thought that the AV MODE button was an InstantOn feature which enables me access to my multimedia without actually booting up Windows Vista when the PC is switched off, however I have not been successful in doing so. I was wondering whether this is a defect in my system or whether this feature is disabled for the FW VAIO series.
Thanks a lot in advance for all your help.

Hi Jaawid,
welcome to Club VAIO..
AV mode is different to the instant on feature that older Vaio models used to have.
Unfortunately pressing the AV mode button only works once your Vaio has booted up windows Vista..
Once Windows launches pressing the AV mode button simply opens the Vaio launcher for selecting the media software you want to use..
