Moving from PC to MAC

I have the sony reader software on both my old PC and the appropriate reader software on my new Mac. I have manually transferred the book files to the Mac but I cannot preview the purchased books on my Mac and my PRS-350 reader will not sync (it just gets kicked out). How do I authorise my reader on my new Mac??

Am seriously considering  a Kindle !!!!!
