downloading books to reader

just bought touch edition manged tosetup lirary and download a couple of books but can't now transfer to e-reader. E-reader just has charging symbol on it is this right? altough the e-libary is showing the reader icon but without the icon at the side as mentioneda by others responding to queries.Grateful for any support, but please keep it very simple my friends don't call me a Luddite for nothing.

Which model Reader do you have.?

Are you referring to the free ebooks, if so does the following help.?

To transfere the free books to your reader -

Connect your reader to your PC via USB..

In the Reader Library click on Click Library at the top of the left-hand menu (you should see the free ebooks listed)

Click on the eBook that you wish to transfer and drag-and-drop it to Reader further down the lefthand
menu. (see image below)

Your books should now load onto your Reader.

E-reader just has charging symbol on it is this right?

You can not access the reader whilst it is connected to via USB..

HI thanks for our help, these are e-books i,ve bought and downloaded, they are in the library and everything is exactly as your clip above but i cannot drag and drop them into my e-reader, i am getting soooo frustrated!!

Hi bargie,

what happens when you try to drag & drop the ebooks onto your reader, do you get any messages.?

Have you authorised your reader using the same Adobe ID that you used when purchasing your books.?
