For the split screen mode, that mainly depends on the app itself if it supports this feature or not not about the split screen feature.
Regarding Netflix, 4K is restricted on Sony phones from Netflix itself.
Other points are helpful and it'd be great to have more options to customise the phone, however, there are no Sony rep. who can reply to you.So you can send them your recommendations on their email from the contact details on their support website here
Yes, it's worth noting that Netflix don't offer 4k streaming on ANY mobile device.
The original Xperia 1 was a Netflix certified device, and they still wouldn't allow 4k on it.
It's just one of their many barmy policies.
