Hi. Got my xperia z1 now and took my sd card from galaxy s2 on which I had all my photos grouped in folders (kids, dog, holidays etc). Now on z1 when I go into albums factory app all my photos from sd card are displayed and sorted by date (March 2014, Feb 2014, Jan 2014 etc) but I would like them to show as Folders (that is why I have sorted them all into folders). Any chance of doing that? Checked everything on the mobile but can't find how to do it!!! Its really annoying.
I tried going into My albums instead Pictures and there is something called My SD card but my pictures from my sd card are not there. Please help anyone! Thanks

I see - I would save the data then to my Pc then format my card - Create a folder on my card called Pictures then copy and paste the folders back - Should you have music then create a folder called music etc etc - Wondering if your previous phone created a hidden file like .nomedia or .thumbnails which may be a cause of your issue - So check for hidden files and folders via your file manager app to see if you have any of those - If you do then delete them and reboot which will allow your phone to create a new file
On initial opening of the app your photo's will be as you described however at the top tap My albums then My SD card then your photo's will be displayed in their folders - But when you close the app and reopen you will have to do it all again
Thank you but as I have said when I go into My Albums -> My SD card I can't see my folders or ANY pictures that I have on sd card AT ALL! Maybe its because it has been removed from my galaxy s2 and put straight into z1? Maybe I should empty the card, put it in z1, format and then upload all the photos onto it again? Would that help? Again I can see all my pictures in Pictures but sorted by date but can't see any in My Albums -> My SD card.
Thanks

No problem - Out of curiosity did you have to format your 64gb card in FAT32 format or another format like exFAT - Some members ask this question and I say use a program like guiformat to force format your card in FAT32
