Xperia Z tethering problem

When I tether the phone to my computer via USB, the internet connection becomes disconnected from my computer after about 15 min despite mobile data is turned on. Then, I had to turn off mobile data, and turn it on again and the internet connection becomes available again. I've to do it repeatedly. Anyway to solve this problem? My computer is running Windows 8. I've checked for drivers but they're fine.

Access your tethering settings and check the sleep settings

Tethering setting is fine, I've checked USB tethering checkbox under Tethering Setting. But, I set my device to sleep after 30 seconds of inactivity. So, should I set my device to sleep after 30 min? Our how should I change my sleep setting?
