voice to text

Samsung S2 (2 years old) had speach or voice to text for doing emails , text messages etc.... what happened to this basic but useful function in sony Z1.... top line phone .... but unfortunataley missing a few things....is there an app for this, recommended?

Check the play store, there are myriad apps/options

Under settings/language & input/xperia keyboard settings check box the "google voice typing key/access voice input from the keyboard"

yahoo its there and standard issue!
