Unusual problem - cannot disconnect a call

Hi

As I type this, my phone is connected to a landline and I can't disconnect. Holding the phone away from my ear, the screen does not come back on. Pressing the power button does nothing. Pressing power + down volume does nothing.

Obviously I can't disconnect the battery, and the phone buttons are unresponsive.

Can anyone help??

Did it.... the solution was power+volume up.

Phone vibrated then rebooted.

Two Solutions:

1 Use power button to hang up a call

Setting->Accessibilty->Use Power button to hang up a call

2. Proximity Sensor Reset

dial *#*#7378423#*#* and get into the service menu, then go to Calibratioins->Proximity sensor.
It will show whether your proximity switch is ON or OFF. It might not work very well with your screen protector, However, all you will have to do is pressing the "Default" button and reset the proximity senor. It will request you to reboot the phone.
Once you have reboot the phone (well, it takes a little longer than usual), it works well even with my screen protector on.
I used to struggle to give up my Z Ultra too, and hopefully this information will help. Good Luck.
