Hello,
I have a Xperia Z1 Compact and i have been annoyed to the fact that when i set the timer on my phone, for let's say 8 minutes the screen turns off. Then when the alarm starts to ring when the time has gone the screen doesnt wake up.
Truly irritating that i have to press the screen wake-up button (ON/OFF button) to wake the screen up and then i have to type in the PIN code and after that i can turn of the alarm.
I have it as a business phone and our companys Exchange security policy demands a security PIN to log on/open the phone and i suspect that might have something to do with it, or does it?
IF thats the problem, is there a workaround because now before i have opened the phone and everything everybody have to listen to the alarm. I know the time can vary from 1second to 10seconds depending on how on the edge i am.
Thanks in advance for any answer.

It's because of the pin you have your problem - If you had swipe as security you wouldn't have this problem - you could try 3rd party apps from Google play store however I can not say this would be a fix due to the pin
As i suspected. The sad thing is that the native email client on the z1 is better in many ways the the 3rd party apps i've tried.
