Hey I just tried to emergency reboot my Sony Xperia Z after an update fail but I get as far as the network providers logo and then my phone will freeze, overheat and emergency shut down. I have had this phone since September and bought it brand new from Telstra in Perth, Australia. I have had to emergency reboot it on around 3 occasions before but I have never encountered this problem before.
Please help- I have trusted Sony since my first PS1 and since have bought 2 PS2s, 2 PS3s, a Sony Bravia TV, and several Sony smartphones in the past. Im really upset with this as I spent a lot of money on this phone and would appreciate it very much if someone got back to me ASAP as my phone is unequivocally very important and I do not have a replacement as I did not see a $650 phone breaking in the first 6 months. Thank you.
PS. I would also like to be informed to whether there is a solution to the unmoutable storage bug where my Xperia Z will repeatedly and seemingly randomly unmount my removable storage (32GB SanDisk Ultra micro SD). This is incredibly annoying as all my personal files such as music and pictures are lost for hours on end until the phone suddenly decides it wants to re-mount the SD card, followed by unmounting it again within minutes or hours. I have tried any number of unmounting, removing, inserting, turning off/on combinations but the bug will not go and files are temporarily lost when I am actually using them- any suggestions??

Sounds like your firmware needs to be repaired but in doing so will factory reset your device meaning any data etc will be lost - To run a repair 1st make sure your phone is fully switched off and disconnected from your Pc then start PC Companion and click on Support zone then click on Update my phone/tablet then in Blue click on Repair my phone/tablet and when prompted hold volume down and connect your USB cable to your phone from your Pc - This should begin the repair process
