Hello everyone,
Please can anyone tell if sim unlocking will unlock the phone's bootloader?
does the sim unlock affect on the bootloader or the DRM keys ?
Thank you!

If you unlock bootloader, you will lose bravia engine. And if you get bootloader unlocked yes,it can be unlocked. But I suggest you as long as you have warranty,do not do it.
You can sim unlock your phone, the bootloader will be intact.
thanks for the reply,
I know what unlocking the bootloader does, but i was wondering if the phone is a sim locked , and if somehow a sim unlock would be performed does this automatically unlock the bootloader ot keep it in it's original status!
in addition, my phone bootloader says: bootloader unloack allowed: Yes
and Bravia engine is functional, as i heard if the bootloader will get unlocked the DRM (Digital Right Managment) keys will be lost and this will stop the function of Bravia engine, and Track ID... but all is working fine for me, thou, I have never unlocked my phone's bootloader, because I bought as ''USED'' so I don't know if it was locked on a network before!
thanks for help again,
thank you sir,
Now i got my quetion answred!
I do still have warranty, and I have never thought of unlocking my bootloader because I know it'll stop the function of bravia engine and track ID, maybe other apps too. so I won't do this.
I only rooted my phone , but I kept the bootloader locked as it is. does rooting the phone void the warranty ?
thanks again
The thing about rooting voiding the warranty is debatable,it is up to your local xperia or network carrier if it does.I suggest you contact xperia care for more info about that:

Normally yes but as your TA partition is intact which is checked at a service centre then my opinion and that of many others is they won't know
I'd advise you as you are rooted to backup your TA partition which if you were to unlock your bootloader then you can re-flash your saved TA partition backup which will re-apply your DRM keys and Bravia engine etc
I got your point sir,
but my bootloader is not unlocked, I never touched It! and also my bravia engine and track ID are working fine. the only thing I did is rooting on a locked bootloader which will not affect on the bootloader and will keep it intact as it is.
there are two ways of rooting the phone.
Unlocking bootloader then Root.
Or
Root on a Locked bootloader
I have heard that rooting won't void warranty as long as the bootloader is locked and never been unlocked!
thanks for your help
Been rooted on a locked Bootloader does not give full root ie: The ability to modify settings or give write permission to apps unless your rom has been deodexed - Hence why you are advised to backup your TA partition incase at some point in the future you do need this facility
See this video here on how to do it which is extremely easy which included the link to download the very small app
