Phone is telling me to close the flaps on every reboot

The phone is bugging me to close the flaps every time I reboot my phone. I've manually pressed on the flaps and they seem closed

You should be able to stop the notification,it is just for phone's safety.

I can safely disable the reminders? The phone doesn't detect whether flaps are open or not?

Seriously, who thought that the user need to be reminded to close the flaps on every boot?

Because water damage can be pretty nasty and making the user responsible,so Sony will not have to repair under warranty. The flaps must be checked by you,to be safe if you want to submerge the phone.

Ah right. So Sony could say "We told you so. " But every reboot is little too much. Perhaps after charging or any activity that requires the flap to be opened.

There are no sensors, just like Sam said in the post link I gave you. But,for the users to always check them,it is better this way.

But bugging the user too much and they will disable the warning. I think they should tone down the warnings.

Say, did the phone also warn you on every reboot?
