how to return phone? Is it possible or impossible to change imei in this unit?

You can try find your device with Google Device Manager (if it was activated), but there are some conditions, see here:https://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiaz5/userguide/finding-a-lost-device/.
The IMEI of the device it's not possible to be changed.

Sorry to hear that, Android Device Manager or previously My Xperia Theft Protection are the two options you have to locate your device.
I would advise you to contact the police and your network operator and as last resort lock your device by IMEI.
