Good experience with Sony Service Center (SORTED, THANKS SONY)

---------SORTED  SORTED  SORTED---------

Got my XPERIA Z5 from vodafone, and because tehy sent me the wrong network unlock code, and my phone is now permanently locked to Vodafone now, so I decided to sent my phone in to sony to reset the network unlock attempt count.

I was misled by customer service and thought that it will be free to reset the network unlock count. When I found out that it would cost 150 pounds to get it done (including repair my screen which has few bright spots, I dont mind them, but sony said that if I dont do it, they wont reset the network unlock attempt count) I decide to NOT let service center carry out any work to my phone and have it returned.

When I received my phone today, I saw a huge glue residue inside the camera lens, and the back cover is not even glued properly, the back cover is already stuck up on one side.

I talked to the online chat team today, and now they said I will need to send my phone in again, with no promiss that whether it will be free to just remove the glue residue inside the lens and re-glue the back cover, wont surprise me that they will ask for 150 pounds to fix the bright spots on the screen before they can actually remove the glue residue in the lens. Dont know what to do now...

THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, WHAT HAS THE REPAIR CENTER DONE TO MY PHONE??

I am a super fanboy of sony, I got 5 xperia phone from z1 to xz premium already, as well as sony headphone speaker camera tv and stuff, but now I am really really disappointed

After communicating with the complain team, they allow me to send the phone back and clean the glue residue for free, I just tried my luck and ask them to help me out reseting the network unlock attempt count. They didn't said yes or no (I think online or telephone customer service team maybe don't have enough communication with the contract repair center).

Today I got my phone back, THEY HELPED ME TO CLEAN THE RESIDUE, UNLOCKED THE NETWORK LOCK, AND EVEN CHANGE THE ALUMINIUM FRAME FOR ME.  (although I didn't mind the small dent on the frame, but good to see a new frame) GOD you got to love Sony, THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH.

Oh my, that is TERRIBLE, just wondering, did you sent it directly to Sony >>> Local support or was it repaired through vodafone third party repair center?

Vodafone refused to do anything, even if they could do it for me, I think it will be done through Sony local support anyway. I used to love vodafone...
