Brand new Xperia Z5 Compact flashlight/camera flash not working

Hi all,

hoping someone can help me out here. I have a brand new Xperia Z5 Compact (arrived yesterday!) and the flashlight/camera flash is not working. Tried the About phone/diagnositcs, no use. Tried pressing on the led, no use. It's not working.

Anybody got a way to get it working again?

Is the phone new or used? either or, you should return/exchange it

Thanks uliwooly. It's brand new .I bought it from a Hong Kong based Internet seller so returning it won't be easy. Will Sony accept it as a warranty repair? This is my third Sony phone, real shame because I loved the other two .

warranty it's only available in the country/region that it was sold

Oh dear that's a shame. Looks like I'll be asking for a refund and it will be going in the bin. What a waste. Thanks for the replies uliwooly.
