A very Low quality Camera Phone : Xperia Z1

My z1 photographs are very worse, it's getting very noisy and lack of details. I thought z1 is best camera with its 21 mega pixels but i was wrong and  there is no difference between any ordinary camera phones or xperia Z1. is this is update problem,? pleas solve this issue. and I didn't see any improvement in camera quality after 4.2 to 4.3 I can't expect from Sony not to resolve this issue from a very long time. I am very disappointed with their services..

Me too!!! My photos are very worse with very noise, especially with the automatic settings. I know that is a phone camera but the total effect is too bad! 4.2 and 4.3 (14.2.A.1.36) they have not resolved the problem. My second phone Xperia T has  higher quality in photos than Z1 (C6903)!!!

I had same impression at first, but using more and more "manual" mode helped me solve the problem (beware of "ISO" settings, setting a lower value can sometimes help...).

Hi Fredkidd I don't know how did you said that camera is working perfect for you.as far as i know that sony is only the manufecture that supplying the xperia Z1. and after your reply i shocked, is it possible that sony is supplying the faulted device only those countrys where the users are exprienced such type of problem..??

My brother also own Xiaomi mi2. and as i know that sony's image sensor is much better that xiaomi mi2. when i compare between these snap shot with same ISO at 100 ,200 ,400, 800 Z! Pics looks like Oil Paintings at 400 ISO and after 800 this pics are very noicey but at Iso 3200 with Xiaomi mi2 a very less or negligible noice in pics. 

I always prefer the manual mode.for fine tune the pics. Sorry to say but i don't  what type of support manufecture is providing you that your Pics are perfect from Z1...

I escalate this issue/Topic becouse i damage bucks for Z1 but did get the satisfactory level of performance\...

Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I just had a faulty phone but when i changed it I had the same problem .

My friend's earlier version is so much clearer when you take pictures with it mine always seems to have some fuzzy white shadow over all the pics. 

Im reallly disapointed.

Ya i agree with you The snaps of Z is much Clearer that Xperia Z1. very disappointed after buying this device..But really very surprised how many of the users are satisfied with such type of faulty device...... really amazing...:-)

I want to know which type of crap are sony is manufecturing. Last friday I bought Xperia Z1 from my nearest sony store. till today just trying to get the nice shots from Z1 as sony claims that Z1 is built with high performing camera. I have tried all the settings but all the same result Phots looks blury fuzzy type pics . very noicy at night shots.. I don't know whats wrong with this device.

Does any one help to resolve it, totally frusteated after buoght that box of crap...:-(

Please have a look onbelow pics...

1. Pic is before capture Lokks better color contrast sharpnes and little noice in picture but acceptable..

2. But in this pic Colors are looks like oil painting and very different from before capture the pic..

I 100% sure the bug is due to the Softwre algorithm used for camera.. I hope this bug can be rectified by to make the changes in softare....
