XZ Loudspeaker/ Ear speaker poor quality.

I have got a new XZ premium. The loudspeaker is of poor quality. The sounds extremely dull for music/videos etc. I like to play music from device if I'm in shower and the shower drowneds out the sound. I didnt have this is issue with my previous xperia devices. The speaker for calls is worse and practically nonexistent. I have spoken to other XZ users and they say the same thing. I have done all diagnostics aswell as factory reset. So my guess is this is a software issue. Do you guys plan on doing anything or are you not even aware of this? I look Forward to hearing a reply.

which build are you on (Settings - About phone - Build number)? the most recent is 45.0.A.7.90 and I think it raised maximum speaker volume.

also just an advice about using the device when in the shower - XZ Premium is certified for some level of water resistance, but not steam. the moisture from the air in the bathroom could get through the seal inside the phone and damage the internals.

My build number is 45.0.A.1.244. My phone software is upto date apparently. I have a large bathroom well ventilated so Its not an issue but thanks for the warning lol.
