Trojan virus and xzp

I have bought a xzp used unit and I am worrying about trojan or virus has been installed in this unit. I tried several times software repair and factory reset and AVG KASPERSKY export protected with no virus. I am worry and don't know what can I do.

@Lai0930 unless you installed applications outside the Google Play store or the AVG is telling that you have a virus you should not worry about it. A software repair using the XC will restore your phone to the initial settings hence removing also viruses.

I am worry about ex owner create a trojan or virus to put in the device and track my information.

once again, if you use Xperia Companion to perform a software repair, it'll wipe all data from the phone, including anything potentially malicious (although the chance anything malicious has been installed is pretty low...).

So, the software repair is means (format) same with Windows OS?

pretty much, although I'm fairly sure Xperia Companion downloads a new software copy before reinstalling it.

If let said software repair is find the lost system file a D cover, some of trojan file is not mark as system file and it's possible to delete or still keep at there?
