dears,
Since a number of days I have a strong problem. The phone only charges up to 64%.
LED turns green as if the phone is fully charged but display shows 64%.
Problem is the same if phone is switched on or off. Changed cable, charger, power source. Problem remains consistent.
In settings - battery level indicates 64%, 1 day 21 hours remaining. I have no clue what the battery autonomy was before the problem.
Used Ampere App to check: while charging app indicates +1050mAmp. At 64: app indicates -300mAmp.
While using the phone the battery discharges normally from 64%,63%.... I did not try to go below 50%.Phone charged properly since unpacking in June but changed behaviour since 2 days.
How to further troubleshoot this? Is the battery faulty? Is the 64% indication wrong?

Hi. Can you discharge battery to around 10% and then try to fully charge it and reply with results
My xz premium has started this also last 2 days. Charges to 93% green light goes out. Battery care on or off no difference. Have to restart phone to finish charging. Will be phoning support in the morning if no solution on here. Cheers
Latest update causing this issue? I do not have this issue but then again I have not received the latest patch yet!
Hi,
I tried the previous suggestion:discharged the battery to only 7% and charged. This did not solve. Battery charging stopped at 64% as before.
I tried the suggestion by pressing Volume & Power for 20sec.
After switching on the phone, battery indicator gave 98%.
Problem seems to be solved. I will monitor it for a number of days and provide feedback.
Is there any explanation? Why 64%? What does pressing Volume & Power for 20s do? Plus explain.

Volume plus power will clear the phones caches, including any erroneous battery level numbers.
Glad you got it sorted.
Pressing Volume & Power during 20 sec did the trick.
Thanks for the support provided!
Worked for me also. Kudos thanks
