@Rwil this is not a software issue nor hardware, your phone isn't guilty. This means that the provider/carrier isn't updating your SIM phone number. You can contact them and ask to have the number pushed to your SIM (yes they can do that) but some carriers will just tell you no. I know it's annoying and I am witness of a carrier not doing that and that some times drives me crazy.
