Does any one have problem with wear detection feature on Sony XM5 headphones. I'm having this problem for last couple of weeks. Headphone doesn't get paused when taken off from the head, it keeps on playing and same for automatic power off, headphone doesn't get switch off even the head phone is taken away for 30 min. I think this was one of the best feature in Sony WH1000 series headphones. From a big company like Sony for their flagship product in this price range , nobody expects this. I hope Sony brings Bug fixes ADSAP
I'm having the same problem. I've been unable to find a working solution online (I've tested several methods, including resetting the headphones, etc). Many people on Reddit are also having the same issue. Unfortunately, the only real solution seems to be getting them exchanged or repaired :/.

I tried everything. Nothing isn't working.
Is it possible to get this issue to the shop without the original box. I just have the Purchase bill ,not the box?
i switched off touch control in sony app and restarted the headphone . Then wear detection worked. I really don't know what's wrong.

Also, make sure that the feature is turned on from the app.
Regarding returning the product, check with your retailer (the shop), but I don't know if this is possible. Worth the trail, though.
