How To Disable Demo Mode NWZ-A845

Hello!

I have just bought a NWZ-A845 mp3 player. It's all perfect, but:

On the main screen, at the bottom right, there's a "DEMO" icon. It prevents me to reset\format my mp3 player, or change some settings under the "COMMON SETTINGS" menu, such as brightness or wallpaper settings etc.

I have been searching for any clue that I can disable this feature, but I have found nothing but an instruction for NWZ-X1050. I can easily understand that, I need to use some kind of combination of the buttons to disable the function.

Does anybody knows how to disable this Demo Feature?

Step 1

Turn on

Step 2

Pree the "Back" Key for 1.5 secs or more, the Home menu is displayed.

Step 3

Slide the "Hold" Key to set to on.

Step 4

Press the keys in the following order

Option -> Play/Pause -> Up -> Up -> Down -> Down -> Play/Pause

I can confirm the above sequence works and is safe.

It toggles DEMO mode off/on  (or on/off) depending on if DEMO mode is already on or not.

It does not erase anything, but going from DEMO mode to normal mode resets the EQ and brings back the key "beep" sound. Easy to set these back though.
