why does explorer keep crashing on me

Hi Folks

I have a vgn-fz31m running vista home basic. my explorer keeps crashing on me and when I try to install explorer 7, I get an error message saying that its not complatible.

please help

Have you run a full Virus and Spyware check?
Have you recently upgraded to Flash 10?
