whistling sound coming out of laptop

Greetings everyone,

i have a question here.. as the topic tells us my laptop is making some weird noice, the best description would be a whistling sound. not sure where it comes from but my best bet would be the speakers or the fan area. really hope now my laptop is not breaking apart, brought it a few months back (march) 😞

it doesnt happen too often thank god but when it happens i get really annoyed, its not very loud and can only be heard if your actually sitting in front of the laptop.

my laptob baby spec

Sony Vaio VGN-FZ21Z
CPU intel core 2 duo
2.2GHz
2gb ram
Nvidia geforce 8600M GS

so if anyone here can tell me if its normal or not i would be very happy ^_^

Hello my friend,

If the whisteling sound is coming from the middle of your keyboard (put your ear up against) then its just the CPU under some load. It usualy happens when a web page with graphics or other types of animated graphics are loading.

Its normal, don't worry about it. 🙂
