ViewSonic VG2230wm and Sony Vaio on DVI

Hello

I wondered if anyone has had issues with scaling of the desktop on ViewSonic monitors connected to Sony Vaio notebooks?

Within the nVidia control panel if I change to "use my diaplays built in scaling" the desktop is crystal clear. However upon each reboot/restart the desktop is blured until I modify this setting in the nVidia control panel. It is very weird.

I contacted nVidia and they basically said go to Sony.. nice.

I have the following setup:

Monitor - ViewSonic VG2230wm.
Notebook Model - Sony Vaio PCG 654M
nVidia - GeForce 8400M GS (driver 6.14.11.5655).
Sony Docking Station.

Any help or guidance would be really appreciated.

I am having problems with a Viao Z 11WN/B and a Viewsonic monitor.

Resolution changes all the time, despite trying display settings as well as nvidia control panel, as soon as I attatch any other usb device the screen changes and reverts to dual mode which I do not want.

Sorry I don't have an answer but waiting on Sony getting back to me, if I get one will post here.
