I have my Vaio FZ21E for almost 7-8 months now. But only yesterday I decided to check the temperature of the laptop using PC Wizard 2008. Apparently the temepratures are as follows:
CPU Core 1: 73 C
CPU Core 2: 72 C
GPU: 75 C
Fan Speed: 100%
HDD: 45 C
I only have a couple of windows and programs opened at this time - iTunes, Windows Media Player, IE and MSN - nothing really special there.
When the computer is started up the specs are around:
CPU Core 1: 42 C
CPU Core 2: 41 C
GPU: 45 C
Fan Speed: 100%
HDD: 35 C
In my view, this are rather high numbers. But what do you think? What can I do in order to lower this high temperatures?
The system specs are (all factory):
Core2Duo 2.0
2GB Ram
160 HDD
Nvidia 8400M GT
Hi Buco, I have exactly the same problem. Look:

As you can see, in the end the motherboard gave up. This seems to be a serious issue as I look at some discussions when i search "FZ temperature" on google, a lot of people seem to have problems with the FZ laptops.
If there's no answer by tomorrow I'll contact them by phone to see what they suggest beacause I don't want my computer to break down again in a few months when the warranty is over
