Have had our V2M for around 3 years now and loved it. recently crashed with a message cpu abnormally high temperature. Now when it starts only gets to the desktop then absolutely nothing. the techie shop that we asked to look at it said motherboard was fried and un repairable. not accepting that checked with sony who said they could repair it for a cool £700+. and couldnt sell the part or tell me what it is. All seems a bit unbelievable - anyone out there with any advice or do i just have to accept that the gorgeous V2M only lasts 3 years!!!
