I would like to do this upgrade so HD stuff plays well.
However, I have seen on another thread that the Firewire connectors on the back of the XL-201 are lost because the cable that connects to the 7600GTL can not be connected to the 8500GT.
Can anyone confirm whether it is ONLY the Firewire connectors that are lost, or do any of the other connectors also become unusable?
