I have a Sony Laptop VGN-N38E model which I bought in 2007 running vista premium home. Over the last few months it as been locking and hanging and I forgot the number of times I have run Task Manager! I thought at first this was a ram memory problem (I have 1gb) but on consulting the techie at P C World he told me that it was not a ram memory problem and I should wipe the computer and reinstall everything. Do you think this is the only solution! and if so how do I do this?
