What? You can only pay with CreditCard? Is there no other possibility to pay for a new recovery DVD?
What is that for a *****************************************************

Ofcourse you can opt for a sony recovery disc original.
Else just save your hard drive image(V2i, gho) somewhere through norton ghost in case you need to recover your pc through symantec recovery disc.
This is asking for piracy if you ask me.
They should be able to take debit cards, jeez they're a big company!
I would ask if they accept a cheque.
OK here's how to get a replacement Recovery Disc.
Open an e-Support case (needed so that you can track the request).
Once this is done, you can opt for one of the following procedures:
1. Ring 0870 240 2408 and ignore the robot. Press the option to speak to a human being (or what Sony regards as the same thing). Now you need ANY card that bears the Visa or Mastercard logo. Quote the case number and you will be sent the replacement disc.
2. Once your case number is known, you can send the money via electronic transfer to:
Bank: Societe Generale London
Account: Sony ITE (division of Sony Service Centre)
Da Vincilaan 7 - D1
Zaventem, 1935
Sort Code: 20-63-91
Account: 01077187
Swift Code: SOGEGB2LLON
You MUST quote your e-support case number with the electronic payment details.
3. You can pay by cheque by sending the full amount to the same address as given in the account details above and writing the case number on the back of the cheque.
Hope that this is useful
