I have VGN-FE41ZR. And I want to boot ubuntu from Kingston DataTraveler 4Gb USB stick. Boot from USB moved to first place in boot order list in BIOS. When I turn on VAIO I see that indicator on the stick blinks several times after VAIO logo vanished and... that's all. VAIO stays with blank screen and blinking cursor 😞
What can I do?
PS The stick is OK because my Thinkpad boots from it with no problem.
