FW21Z charger help

I now have an VGN-FW21Z which came with charger VGP-AC19V24, can I use my old charger with the new laptop as a spare? It is a VGP-AC19V14 and I used it with my VGN-FE31Z.

Hi AngelaUK and welcome to Club Vaio.

I would use the power supply designed for your model - it is more modern and less likely to be a problem.

That said, it looks like the specifications are exactly the same (19.5V 4.7A) so it should work in an emergency.

Presumably the plug is the same size and has the same polarity??
