DVD WRITER TYPE

Hi there, could anyone tell me if the dvd drive in my AR11M has a sata or ide connection. my dvd drive has just died and will not even read a disc.

Looking for a replacement drive, could anyone recommend a decent one.

in device manager do you have any warning signs or error codes next to CD/DVD drive.?
