Downgrading VGN-FW21E to windows XP

Does anyone knows where can i download the compatible drivers to downgrade my VGN-FW21E to windows XP?

Hi eacpc and welcome.

There are no Driver Sets or Utilities Packs for European Vaios. Sony will not support XP on your model and it is a very difficult installation. You will have to reinstall Vista if you need to claim under the guarantee.

You will have to find the individual XP drivers from the manufacturers site or from another Vaio. FW XP Drivers are not even available on the Sony Far East website. You may find some sets on Rapidshare but they will cost you and there is never a guarantee they will work.

Sony USA do have XP drivers available for the FW190 though.

As Utilities do not exist, function keys for screen brightness etc. will not work properly. It is up to you, but a downgrade does not seen to be possible that preserves all the Vaio's functions. You will also lose all the preinstalled software.
