cursor jumps randomly

Hi I hav a VAIO VGN laptop - when I type emails the cursor randomly jumps to another line. I have reinstalled the original drivers but still have the problem - any suggestions how to fix it? Kitsch01

Hi kitsch01,

welcome to Club VAIO..

Try this...

Click Start, then all programs, then Vaio Control Centre..

Click Continue on the User Account Control window..

In the Vaio Control Centre expand Keyboard and Mouse..

Then double click on Mouse..

In the Mouse Properties window select the Tapping tab.

In the tapping tab ensure that you have selected Tap Off when typing and also try adjusting the delay after last key is hit.

Does that help with the Touchpad problem.?
